Marina Regulations
Seasonals and Transient Boaters

  1. Noise curfew is from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  2. Young children must always be under the supervision and responsibility of an adult. (We suggest for the security of your children that children under the age of 7 years of age wear safety jacket while playing in the marina). Any child disturbing the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere for our guests will receive only one verbal warning and one written warning. We do not allow any running on the docks with the exception of the Marina Staff and this only when providing docking assistance.
  3. All dogs must be on a leash and owners must pick up after their dogs. Failure to do so, there will be one written warning followed by one written warning. Any further warnings will be cause to expel the dog from the Marina permanently. There is a specific area that the dogs are allowed to use the toilet being beside the garbage container in the parking lot (see administration for details).
  4. Outside contractors (mechanical, electronic, upholstery/canvas, cleaning/waxing, etc.) are permitted to work on Creg Quay property, only if the Manager has given written authorization and the sub-contractor has signed a waiver indicating third party liability. The Manager reserves the right to expel from the property, outside contractors who have not been approved to work at the Creg Quay Marina. No outside repairs that can be done by our service and repair staff will be allowed.
  5. All repairs are to be done at the Service and Repair dock. Arrangements can be made with the Service and Repair at (613) 347-2705, extension 134.
  6. The marina pool is accessible to all seasonal, annual, transient, and authorized guests. It is recommended that children wear life jackets. All children must be supervised by an adult. Ontario law prohibits any food or drinks in the pool area. No animals are permitted in the pool area. No lifeguard on site.
  7. Absolutely NO FISHING on Creg Quay Property (from shore, off a boat, or off a dock).
  8. Barbecuing is permitted on board a vessel providing that the barbecue is securely attached to the boat (No hibachis or barbecues permitted on docks). The BBQ's at the end of the docks are provided as a service to our clients however we ask that you light the BBQ as soon as you are ready to cook. Please remember as a courtesy to all who use them to keep them clean and to close off the propane once you are finished.
  9. Absolutely NO WAKE within the marina basin.
  10. The canals north of the marina are private property accessible only to Creg Quay residents (homeowners).
  11. For safety and security of everyone in the marina, we request that all electrical cords and hoses be properly coiled and not laying on the docks. When leaving your dock we request that you shut your breakers off and turn them back on upon arrival. There is to be no alterations, adjustments or extras added to the docks or slips without written permission from the Manager.
  12. All garbage are to be put in the dumpsters which are located in the parking lot. At no time are you allowed to dump batteries or any oil of any sort in the dumpsters. If you need to dispense any of the liquids from your boat, please feel free to ask our service department fore assistance.
  13. Absolutely no "FOR SALE" signs or any other type of advertising is permitted on boats. Boat owners are asked to use the Creg Quay bulletin board or to advertise through our boat brokers, Ian Macintosh and Francine Desrochers.
  14. All sailboats must have their sails properly tied-up and the ropes cannot hang loose during the night.
  15. Check-out time for transients is 1:00 p.m. All seasonal or Annual customers must advise the Harbor Master of his departure and arrival times while you are vacationing our of our Marina for more than 24 hours. The marina reserves the right to rent the dock during your absence and upon return we ask that you give us a 24 hour notice so that we may clear your dock. Failure to report your return may be cause temporarily re-location.
  16. All seasonal and transient contracts are restricted to one 20 amp, 30 amp or 50 amp plug or otherwise indicated in your contract. When customers are not residing on their boats, we would ask that all air-conditioning units remain closed. If the owner does not abide by this rule, their will be one verbal warning, followed by charge of $150.00.
  17. All seasonal boaters must sign a Winter Storage Contract, even if an Annual Plus Contract has already been signed.
  18. All seasonal boaters must renew their contract before October 15th to secure their dock. Any client who request to be transferred or moved docks are requested to be transferred or moved docks are requested to submit their request in writing to the Harbor Master no later than September 15th of each year so that he/she may be able to better serve your needs. Note that presidency is given to seniority of each dock member.
  19. Every seasonal or annual contracted boat must be a minimum of 3 feet longer than the dock finger, or will be charged accordingly.
  20. All seasonal boaters must have liability insurance coverage on their boat.
  21. Every boater is held responsible for his or her annual or docking contract. This means that once the contract is signed, no reimbursements will be issued. However, the boater may (with permission from Creg Quay) sell his contract to another individual. The new contract must be signed by Creg Quay and the new party.
  22. Any seasonal or transient boater caught tampering with Creg Quay property or not adhering to the Creg Quay Marina Regulations will receive one verbal and one written warning. Thereafter, the boater can be expelled from the property without reimbursement.
  23. The Marina reserves the right to relocate any boat or personal watercraft, should its location cause a safety hazard or impede the effective working of the Marina.
  24. Every dock may keep one car in the marina parking lot. Any other vehicles has to be parked in the overflow parking.
  25. Dinghies and PWC must be kept in designated areas. Dockage fee is required.
